A little atmosphere.

The Mr. and I showed up kid-less for our first visit to EVO Kitchen. Specializing in gourmet sandwiches and salads, EVO originally began as a catering company in 2010 and has since expanded to a dine-in restaurant in a historic building downtown. The ceilings are high, the windows are large, the lighting is soft. And there are butter tarts.

I had a tasty smoked salmon bagel with spinach salad and the better half had a pulled pork sandwich with quinoa salad. Yum. We laughed when the friendly girl at the counter suggested we bring our kids next time. Sure, we replied, is Wonder bread with cheese and mayo on the menu?
